I’ve been listening to a lot of music-related podcasts. I enjoyed the six-part The Wonder of Stevie, and lately I’ve been diving into the archives of Questlove’s podcasts, Questlove Supreme and the Questlove Show. (And if you missed Questlove’s documentary Summer of Soul, it’s wonderful, and I’m excited that he has an Earth Wind & Fire documentary coming.) My farfetched fragrance match: Questlove says his hair smells like French Toast, and I have not had French Toast in many years but when I used to make it I always added vanilla….and of course you can add a banana to your breakfast too, right? So Comptoir Sud Pacifique Vanille Banane.
