Artist Andrea Maack has introduced Indigo, a new unisex fragrance inspired by denim.
INDIGO pays homage to the material itself, first woven in Nîmes, in the south of France—its name a nod to “de Nîmes,” meaning “from Nîmes.”
The scent opens with a bespoke denim note, textured and familiar, yet elevated into something entierly [sic] new. At it´s [sic] heart, lavender and orris add a refined, almost floral elegance, while the dry down of sandalwood and soft musks recall the quiet comfort of broken denim-rugged, intimate and effortlessly confident.
Indigo was developed by perfumer Céline Barel. Additional notes include asphalt.
Andrea Maack Indigo is available in 15 ($120) or 50 ($245) ml Extrait de Parfum.
